Baby V by Tara Oakes Release Day Blitz

SYNOPSIS
*** This novel is intended for those over 18 years of age, due to mature content.

Life is full of choices... paths, if you will. Vincenza Lombardi's life has been carefully planned out and orchestrated by her wealthy and powerful family. Nothing but the best for their "Baby V". The best prep schools, the finest finishing schools, and the top girls-only university in the nation.

As the only daughter, she has been protected and shielded by her three older brothers from anything unsavory that could possibly compromise their pride and joy.
Every decision, every move, has been to prepare Baby V for the role she was born for.

But Vincenza, or "V", has other plans. Home for one last summer before she embarks on her secret life plans, she's determined to forge her own way, on her own, separate from her impressive but constricting family legacy. As if three older brothers aren't enough to stand in her way, V also has to deal with Dom DiBenedetto.

The Dibenedetto and Lombardi families had grown their fortunes together, raised their families closely and run one of the most successful importing business in the world. As CEO, Dom is used to running things his way and getting what he wants. As the head of his family, Dom takes his role seriously... ensuring the future and security of his employees and his loved ones. Unbeknownst to her, V plays a critical role in those plans, but will they fit in with the life she see's for herself?

REVIEW:

As always Tara has created a dominant, Alpha Male, but she has also created a female character who isn't afraid to stand her ground. I loved V's voice. It was unique, strong and just really amusing.

Baby V brought to mind feelings I've felt before and probably will feel again, and honestly it made me feel all nostalgic. And maybe that's really not something that people enjoy, but I really did.

It was also interesting to only have V's perspective really. You had to learn about characters through a biased view and it definitely gives some interesting descriptions.

Overall, the plot, characters and the realistic ups and downs made for a marvelous reading experience. Tara Oakes has really done it yet again.

A Lil' Less Hopeless Release Day Blitz!

A Lil' Less Hopeless ( The Kingsmen MC #3 ) by Tara Oakes

SYNOPSIS:
WARNING***
This novella is intended for those 18+ of age and contains strong language, sexual content, and adult situations.

Jay and Lils' epic tale of true love has unfolded, first in 'A Lil' Less Broken', followed by 'A Lil' Less Lost', and now concludes in the third installment of Tara Oakes' thrilling Kingsmen MC saga.

Jay has proven his loyalty over and over... that he is willing to do whatever necessary for his one true love, his Lil' one, Julia. She just so happens to have an uncanny ability to find herself in need of that loyalty time and again.

What happens when the tables turn and it is Lil's who must risk it all to save her ol' man? To prove once and for all, to him, and to the MC they call family that she is no longer the little girl they've known. But instead, is a fierce ol' lady determined not to stand idly by as everything she has worked so hard to regain is threatened.

Review:

Again I loved the characters, mostly Jay and Lil's. They're both interesting characters who make things their own and fights for what they want. It was just amazing, and sigh.

The flashbacks were interesting and gave even more insights into characters, allowing a glimpse into the past. There were also chapters done from different character's perspectives. And not necessarily just Jay and Lil's. There certainly is a mystery involved around one of the characters and I am very curious to find out what is going on there.

Another thing I love about these books is the sense of family you get from reading. It just gives you a warm feeling inside.

And then some of the actions of the characters. Very unexpected. It kept me on my toes. Overall A Lil' Less Hopeless is an amazing addition to a great series!
