Excerpt:
After we get our food, we park directly in front of my
car, and I relax a little, but my hands are still shaking from being so
nervous. I’m so hungry that I try to ignore them and eat some of my fries. I
sneak a glance over at Marcus, and he’s practically inhaling his cheeseburger.
I can’t help but stare at him. He turns his head and notices me.

I shake my head as I laugh. “Nothing. It’s just you’re
practically inhaling that burger. Are you even chewing it?”

burger gone by the time I put the car in park. So you must have swallowed yours

“Touché. And yes, I tasted it. I was starving. That
happens when you throw up everything in your stomach.”

“How’s your head? Migraine still there?”
I shake my head. “No, it finally went away.”
He grins as he goes back to eating his food. I do the
same, but I can’t stop from smiling.

REVIEW:
The narration in Ella's Love was great! I really felt like I was in the book and it sounded almost like a voice over at times. This was actually one of the books that I enjoyed the first person narration. It's usually not my favorite perspective, but I really enjoyed it this time.
And then the plot of their meeting. That was interesting to watch unfold. To know that they've met before and keep running into each other just made me sigh.
Admittedly Marcus annoyed me several times but I came around. I felt really attached to Ella and that made the book even more enjoyable. Her struggles made it all that much easier to relate to her.
Ella's Love brought you into an emotional roller coaster and even a day or so after I finished it and I'm typing my review, I still feel like I'm on that roller coaster. And that is hard for authors to do sometimes.
Overall, Ella's Love was an amazing, if at times painful read. Keep the tissues close if you start reading it.
