REVIEW:

The two sisters were certainly different, each had their different strengths and weaknesses. I don't think there was ever a time you felt that you needed to choose between the two or that either of them had a better point than the other. They were just at different points of their lives.

I don't think I was ever really lost while reading this book, except maybe on occasion when the tennis things got too technical but I don't think that happened more than once or twice at the most.

There were certainly several shockers that you might not be able to predict and these certainly helped to make the book a little more interesting, more so than watching the drama and intrigue of Samantha's life as well as what you know of Annie's. 

Lisa Heidke has created a good, strong novel that follows the story of Samantha and Annie.

Destined Havoc by Nina Levine

If you enjoyed Nina Levine's Storm MC series than you will certainly fall in love with Havoc and Carla. Carla is the strong female lead that people can cheer on while Havoc is the HOT biker that will leave you begging for more as he pursues Carla.

There were also familiar characters in Destined Havoc but obviously they didn't play as big a part in this novella. But it was still good to reconnect with the Storm boys and see what was going on after the bomb that we were left with last time. It was also interesting to see how Havoc, as a nomad fit into the club.

This novella will have you up and laughing one moment and then trying to form a protective circle around your heart trying to prevent Carla and Havoc from throwing you onto a roller coaster you don't want to get off.

Destined Havoc was a great novella and I'm interested to see where the two characters go from now. I can't wait to read more of Havoc and Carla!

Cade by V.A. Dold

Cade was a good, strong read. It contained characters that seemed real as you and me, and the fact that we were given Anna's past(or at least some of it) as well as the dreams before she actually physically met Cade let the readers gain an insight into her personality. Although I don't agree with her reasoning for staying with her ex-husband I could at least understand them. We also can't forget that she also wasn't crazy skinny. I know, I know, not every book character is extremely thin or whatnot but it feels nice to have a women who has curves and we see the effects of society on her because of the fact she's not always comfortable in her own body. Then we were also introduced to Cade, *sigh*. He's the perfect guy, and reader's inner romantic will definitely be doing a lot of sighing over him.

There were also all kinds of different moments. There were drama filled moments(mostly with Anna's ex), romantic moments, and fun, amusing ones as well. I especially loved the interactions between the Le Beau family. There were a lot of moments that you just had to laugh or smile foolishly because of something that happened. It made for a fun read that kept the reader interested and motivated to keep reading.

Cade was a great read, and I would definitely enjoy reading it again. I cannot wait to read Simon, as there was a bit of a lead up in Cade as well as the fact that we met Simon and his story made want to learn more about him.
