Alright, so I started off with a lot of questions. But slowly but surely those questions were answered or we were given at least part of an answer. Rigby was certainly an interesting character. She was feisty and used that extensively, not to mention she was loyal to her friend. But I still felt like she should feel bad for being mean to Ciro as he was actually a good guy. And you knew him before meeting and getting inside Rigby's head so you know he wasn't a terrible person.

While this world certainly isn't one I'd want to live in, it certainly made for an interesting story. Especially some of the different character's thoughts. After Rigby and Ciro's thoughts I liked hearing what the Prince was thinking. And thinking that he needed to be educated a bit about how others felt.

The writing of Soul Surrendered was really good. As I already mentioned I loved the characters, although for some it took longer than others. Not to mention they had their flaws. The plot didn't drag on and there were no huge errors that I noticed.

Rosemary Clyde has created an interesting paranormal book. Soul Surrendered just released today!

Soulbound by Kristen Callihan

Soulbound certainly starts out interesting. I don't think I quite expected anything like that. It took me by surprise but it was good. I was drawn in, and it kept things interesting throughout the novel. Especially with Adam and Eliza's rocky relationship.

Soulbound wasn't in the usual time period that I usually would be reading. But it wasn't too bad actually. Maybe I should branch out. It certainly wasn't boring. I did actually enjoy the story and time period as well.

The characters and plot were definitely what kept me reading. Eliza was not what I expected of a female at that time. She was feisty and stood up to Adam. Adam drove me crazy throughout the book and I definitely felt the need to growl and curse him more than several times but as you get farther and farther in then you realize that he's not too bad actually. 

There were certainly several disturbing characters and that also helped the story along and definitely made things intriguing. 

Overall Soulbound was a good book that I enjoyed but didn't fall in love with.

OH MY GOODNESS THIS BOOK! This book series has been keeping me on my toes but What the Heart Desires takes it to the breaking point! I just.....all the way through this book I was trying to decide if I was going to end up in tears or wanting to growl and groan at someone(preferably a character and not a friend). The plot was interesting, high emotions, and that cliffhanger left me begging for the next book! Or at least the first chapter. I would read the next book chapter by slow chapter if that's the way I had to read it. The shockers just kept coming.

The characters were also developing and your emotions about the characters are constantly in flux. Dylan, Layne and Heaven as well as their families are so difficult to deal with at times and yet you can't put the book down!

I had such a hard time not reading this book all in one sitting, but there was homework to get done and classes to get through. So it was a struggle but I was able to.

If you're a fan of romances with soul mates than you need to check this series out!

Review: 

I am going to start this review out with this disclaimer that I did take a little bit to get into the book and perspective but once I did, I actually really enjoyed it. So you should definitely check this out if you're into sort of soul mate ideas.

As I mentioned I wasn't a huge fan of the first person perspective, but generally I'm not. There's a lot of books that I've been able to get past the perspective to enjoy the book and Burdened was one of them. It also took me a bit to get into the story(mostly because of the perspective I think) but once I did it was certainly worth the difficulties I pushed past.

This book though. It had me confused and frustrated for a large part of the beginning, especially with the plot. I was quickly fed up with Nathan's dodging of questions because they were all questions I just had to know the answer to. But once things started getting cleared up or at least some questions started being answered I definitely settled in to the book a bit more and enjoyed it so much more. Mostly because of the growing relationship between Nathan and Tracey.

I'm a sucker for those they're meant to be together and supernatural forces bring them together thing so this was definitely one of the books that once I got past those things I wasn't a huge fan of I could enjoy a lot. And I did, there were sweet moments, there were difficult moments but overall it was a good story, with lots of action, lots of romance and plenty of time to try to figure out where everything was coming from.

The ending definitely left me frustrated but more from wanting to see and hear more than anything else. Overall, Burdened was an interesting, romantic read and I think that if it's your type of book you should give it a fair chance.
