What the Heart Wants by Kelli McCracken

(Image found on Goodreads)

Dylan and Heaven have been dreaming about a stranger. A stranger of the opposite sex. When they meet, it's clear to Dylan at least that his dreams have just become reality. But Dylan's fear of telling Heaven might tear them apart. Will Dylan find the strength to win Heaven's heart forever? Find the official description on Goodreads.

The feelings and memories in this book were really well described. It was really easy to understand what was going on with each of the characters and to see what had happened in their memories of the past. And those memories were so sweet.

I'm always a sucker for soul mate romances, and What the Heart Wants did not disappoint. It had enough drama, external and internal to make things difficult but it also had those sweet moments that are almost too sweet?

We're given both characters perspectives, and that's the majority of the book. But we also get one or two small chapters in other characters perspectives. And that was an interesting experience. It let me understand some of the other characters motives rather than just think they were pains in the butts.

The writing was good, and solid. I definitely enjoyed What the Heart Wants and can't wait to read more about Heaven and Dylan!

Accidentally Married on Purpose by Rachel Harris

(Image found on Netgalley)

Sherry has sworn off the men she typically goes for. Instead she wants to settle with a boring guy, someone who won't hurt her. But with one weekend in Vegas to engage in a quick fling before finding this guy, she finds herself waking up with Tyler Blue's ring on her finger. No biggie, right? Just a quick divorce. But Tyler needs this marriage to last...at least for a little while or else he fears that his career might not survive. However Tyler finds it hard not to fall for the spunky Sherry and  is determined that she be his forever girl. Can he convince her or will their marriage end? Find the official description on Goodreads.

While reading this book, I found myself quickly wondering what Sherry would say or do. It was amusing, and I had a smile while reading the whole time. Then there were her interactions with Sherry just made me laugh in addiction to the crazy smile I had on my face. Sherry was just so happy and almost carefree that she made you smile and laugh. Then there was Tyler. I felt really bad for him although I was really cursing him for some of his decisions. But at the same time I could understand...even if I didn't approve of it.

Then there were some things that made me chuckle and roll my eyes. For example, I chuckled at Sherry's rules. Because really how often are rules followed in romance books? Absolutely never. Or I guess rarely. But it just made me chuckle and look forward to Sherry's reaction when the rules were bent or broken.

And I have to admit there were several sigh worthy moments in the book. The kind that would make me swoon if I could swoon. But since I can't or won't, here's a gif of Hermione(Emma Watson) swooning:
Okay, swoon over. But literally I dare you to read this book and not sigh over some of the more romantic gestures.

Accidentally Married on Purpose is a great read and I'm very happy that I was able to get a copy to read. The music industry and the celebrity issues were certainly enlightening and I loved the romantic gestures that Tyler made. If you're a romantic at heart, and love celebrity-regular people romances than give Accidentally Married on Purpose a chance. It is being released on July 14th, 2014.

Significance by Shelly Crane

(Image found on Goodreads)
“I'll always come for you. I'll always find you.” -Shelly Crane, Significance

Okay, so I'm going to give you a little bit of a heads-up. If you don't like sugary sweet romances with The One in it, don't bother trying this book. You probably won't even make it through half of the book. But on the other hand for those who are all about the sugary sweet and soul mates with a little bit of mystical things thrown in then this is the book for you. Even if you only indulge in sugary sweet every once in a while, I recommend you give this book a read.

Now that that's out of the way let me explain a bit about the book. It's the first of the Significance series and tells the story of Maggie Masters, who's down on her luck. Her mother left, her father is pretty much absent and her boyfriend broke up with her at the beginning of her senior year. But something magical happens when she finds herself walking around town.
