Wilde Riders by Savannah Young

"I'm not a country kid anymore." Savannah Young, Wilde Riders
WARNING: Not Appropriate for Younger Audiences.

Cooper Wilde just wanted to escape his rural hometown and never look back. And he's succeeded for the most part. But when his brother calls him, needing help with his bar, Cooper just has to help. Riley is done with Wall Street Egos and she's determined that this New Jersey trip will be as short as she can make it. But when she loses a bet to Cooper, will it be the end of the world? Find the official description on Goodreads.

The writing during Wilde Riders was easy to read. It flowed, although I wasn't a fan of the perspective that was used. But that's just my preference.

Then there were the characters. Cooper, it seemed that I wanted to shake my head at him more times than not but I can see his motivation and it's good that he worked hard to get what he wanted. Riley was a laugh. I loved her character, even more so when it was her perspective. She just had a lively, not so much upbeat but realistic tone of voice. It was a bit jaded but it was fun to see how New Jersey changed a bit in her mind, thanks to Cooper.

The dynamics between the brothers was interesting to watch, almost as interesting as the romance taking place. But I do have to mention that Jake may have to grow on me as really I think he's nothing but a player. Tucker was a bit better. And honestly I'm excited to see with whom the two end up. That will definitely be two interesting books.

The conflict was simple, but the characters reacted in less than simple ways. It was great to see how the two reacted and how far each was willing to go.

Overall, Wilde Riders was a good read and I will have to add Savannah Young's other books to my TBR list.
