Fall Away by Zoe York

(Image found on Goodreads)

Trick Novak is known for his one night stands. But when he wakes up in the bed of a girl whose name he can't remember again, especially after he ran into said girl's roommate who is disgusted with him, he finds that maybe one night is not all he wants. But only with the right girl. Will he convince her to take a chance on him? Find the official description on Goodreads.

Fall Away certainly starts off interesting. The writing style grabs your attention and keeps it throughout the book as Trick deals with some things that come up. I loved the characters in this book! Trick was your typical alpha male who does one night stands and I just really enjoyed all of the characters in the book. They truly felt alive to me.

There was a good plot, with their share of problems to overcome. And that's a good thing. No one's perfect after all. But the interesting thing about Fall Away is that it didn't seem to deal with a whole lot of physical action. It tended to deal more with the emotional and those types of problems that needed to be overcome by both characters so that they could move forward with their relationship.

I honestly didn't feel I was missing anything by not having read the previous books so this book can certainly be read as a standalone if you're so inclined.

If you're feeling like giving Zoe York a chance, this is one book or series that might be a good one to start with.
