Honored by B.B. Hamel!

(Image found on Goodreads)

Liam isn't entirely happy with how the new boss is running the mob but he doesn't make any waves until Ellie, his kid brother's teacher, sees something she shouldn't and he's told to eliminate her. Unable to do so he must now find a way to keep everyone safe, including Ellie. Find the official description on Goodreads.

Liam was certainly a hot blooded male, but that didn't mean he didn't have his good side. And B.B. Hamel shows both his bad and good sides. At the beginning Liam wasn't my favorite character but this changed as I read more and more. Ellie was much easier to like and while she did have a few things that weren't the best. But when first meeting her, you see the best of her. And the addiction that Ellie overcame was amazing!

The old way that you don't really see in Honored seems to be much better than the new way. The plot kept you jumping and going through the same leaps of hope and falls as the characters. Which are quite a bit. You'll be up and down the whole book.

B.B. Hamel has certainly created a great mob book for those who like the genre.
