Series by Nina Levine. As we wait with anticipation for the upcoming release of
Book Four of the Series, Slay, check out the current books of the series with

Slay will be Blade's Story and it’s certainly going to be one bad ass addition
to this biker romance series.

Also these books are not suitable for younger audiences.

------BOOK 1 - STORM------

Madison Cole’s family is the Storm Motorcycle Club. Her father is the President and her brother is the VP. She grew up surrounded by bikers, crime and violence. Two years ago she walked away from her family and the world they live in. Her soul was shattered, her heart was broken and she had an addiction she couldn't shake. She picked up the pieces and put herself back together. Now her family wants her back. The club is being threatened and they send a club member to return her home to safety; the one person that could destroy everything she has worked so hard to build.

Jason Reilly has sacrificed a lot for the motorcycle club he calls family. Two years ago he made the biggest sacrifice of all; he gave up the woman he loved for them. Now he is being sent to bring her back and he is conflicted. He thought he was over her but discovers their connection is as strong as ever. Their love was all-consuming, passionate and fiery. It was also their undoing and he doesn't know if either of them is strong enough to battle the demons that ripped them apart, to find love again.

Madison and Jason are brought back together by a force out of their control; one that pushes them to a breaking point. Can they overcome their past and discover a love worth fighting for or will the harsh reality of their world finally and completely break them both?

Review:
Storm by Nina Levine is a great read! Especially if you’re looking for a MC romance.

I do have to admit that at first I was a little lost. Mostly because I thought we were getting a preview of the future but really it was a snapshot of the past. But this quickly gets straightened out so that wasn’t much of an issue.

Then there was also the fact that Storm is set in Australia, Brisbane specifically. I can say that I honestly don’t believe that I’ve read an Motorcycle Club book set in Australia. So the setting was unique and stood out in my mind.

The writing of Storm was easy to read, and draws readers in. Honestly throughout the book I felt myself being drawn in and being carried into the book as if it was happening around me or I was observing it. This is one of my favorite things about reading books sometimes and I honestly believe that Nina has created a series that will have readers coming back for more. I know I will.

Then there are the characters. Both are far from perfect and have their problems to work through both together and on their own. While the non-stop drama was attention-grabbing, the problems that the two faced in getting back together and the ways they worked through those problems was just as interesting as the main plot throughout the book.

Then there was the ending. After having finished the whole book I felt like applauding Nina while turning into a one person lynch mob. That ending tore my heart out, stomped on it for good measure before gluing it back together.

Nina Levine has started off with a bang in her Storm MC series, and I can tell you that I’m immediately reading the rest of her books in this series.

------ BOOK 2 - FIERCE ------

She’s everything he’s never wanted. He’s everything she’s never known.

Scott Cole is a force to be reckoned with. As Vice President of the Storm Motorcycle Club he carries out his duties with a ruthless determination. He moves through life with a clear agenda - protect his club and his family at all costs.

He is intense.

He is loyal.

He is fierce.

He doesn’t give his love easily, but when he does, he loves fiercely. Settling down, however, has never been part of his plan.

Harlow James is a country girl who has never met a biker in her life. She is also done with men. In her experience all they ever do is lie, cheat or steal. When she meets Scott Cole she knows he is heartbreak on legs.

He is confident.

He is sexy.

He is bossy.

She knows she must fight her growing attraction to this complex man in order to guard her heart. When his world crashes into hers and danger comes calling, Scott’s fierce desire to protect kicks in and Harlow realises that she might just have found a man worth taking a risk on.

Review:

I have to say that I started Fierce wanting to know who would be able to take on Scott and his let’s say honest approach to things. So, getting his book and being able to start it right after I finished Storm was amazing!

I’m not sure who I like more but Scott was an alpha male, bad biker. But he was still nice or did things that were kind and thoughtful. This certainly made me appreciate him a little more than I had in Storm.
Now that we’re talking about Storm, in Fierce, readers get an update on J and Madison. Which after the ending of Storm, I was really happy to have. I needed that reassurance that everything was going well and whatnot.

While I found Fierce to be a little calmer than Storm this does not mean that it didn’t get your heart pumping and the keep things rolling at a relatively quick pace. It just means that there was a bit of time in between where you got to enjoy the interactions between characters and maybe even see a new side to someone.

Again, Nina Levine draws readers into her books and helps them to form bonds with them as if they were real. It adds to the experience of reading Fierce and I had a hard time putting it down.

------ BOOK 2.5 - BLAZE ------

Passion.

Love.

Forever.

Forever is a long time and takes a lot of hard work.

For twelve years, Madison and J's love story has been wild and uncontrollable. Their road to love has been full of breathtaking highs and devastating lows. Finally, they’ve found each other again and have both sworn that this time it will be forever.

Theirs is an everlasting love.

Or, is it?

Can forever be an impossible dream when two people are as headstrong as these two? Or will the deep love they have for each other win out and give them the forever they've fought hard for?

Review:
Can I just say more Madison and J! Squee!!! Happy noises! Party!

And that`s not the only reason I loved Blaze. Although getting to see more glimpses into Madison and J`s beginnings as well as some scenes that we didn't get to see in Fierce definitely made Blaze my favorite in the series so far.

Blaze creates even more bonds and depth to characters, some which is good, some which adds to the hatred or disgust that you feel about some characters.

I really enjoyed Blaze, mostly because it caught up with previous characters, added depth to some different characters and gave readers more of their favorite couples.

Nina Levine continues creating a series that welcomes the reader into that world and I cannot wait to read Revive!

------ BOOK 3 - REVIVE ------

He doesn’t do relationships. Neither does she. But they can’t fight the attraction any longer…

Nash Walker hides the demons that consume his soul. He buries them deep and distracts himself with sex. Anything to avoid facing a past full of heartbreak and regret; anything to numb the pain that he struggles with daily.

Velvet Carr has spent years fighting her demons. It’s a fight she’s winning. That is, until Nash crashes his way into her life and into her heart.

It started out as a bit of harmless fun between friends; it wasn’t meant to get complicated for either of them. But when two broken souls come together and arouse unwanted feelings in each other, complicated is what happens.

Can Nash and Velvet help heal each other and revive the love in their lives that they’ve both been refusing to allow in for years? Or will they let their demons ruin any chance they may have at happiness?

Review:
Finally Nash’s story has come to us! Although I didn’t really have to wait like readers who’ve been with the series since it started but still I was excited for Nash’s story.

And wow, what a story it was. I honestly didn’t know that much about Nash, other than what we’ve found out in the previous books. I liked him though, because he’s actually really fun and most of the times pretty nice. But Revive you see both his good and bad sides. And it’s definitely a much different Nash than has been presented in the previous books. Although more so because you do see the negative traits he has. Not necessarily that he changes all that much in Revive.

And Velvet. We got to go past just the surface and really get to know her. Nash and Velvet are an interesting combination but one that works.

Throughout the book, you really get family vibe that’s being spoken about in the stories. So even when things might not be going as well you still have a bit of happiness because the club is like a family. Albeit it’s slowly turned into a dysfunctional one. And the feeling slightly disappeared in Revive but only because of some of the events that took place. Honestly I was feeling the emotions of the characters or on behalf of the characters. That’s definitely one thing I love about the Storm MC books.

The writing was smooth as usual and easily draws the reader in.

Revive is a great addition to what is a great series and I cannot wait to see Blade’s story in Slay. I can imagine it will be just as good as the rest have been.

Lil' Less Lost Blitz!

Book Synopsis
WARNING*** This novella is intended for those 18+ of age and contains strong language, sexual content, adult situations and a direct continuation of it's prequel 'A Lil' Less Lost'. Do fairytale's always have a happily ever after? Jay and Lil's had just found the love they once shared and foolishly lost. But, a horrific turn events threatens to end it forever. Jay must race against time to save his ol' lady Lil's and their baby before tragedy strikes. In this sequel we learn more about Jay, the deep love he has for his soulmate, and just how far he is willing to go to protect her. This novella is approx. 50,500 words and does not contain a cliffhanger ending like it's prequel. However, an epic love story like Lil's and Jay cannot possibly be wrapped up in two tidy little novella's... now can it?

Author Bio
Tara is a thirtysomething newbie author from Long Island, New York. She's a voracious reader, a passionate writer and and obsessive junk T.V. aficionado. When she's not doing one of those three things she is attempting to garden, hanging with her hubby or partaking in some retail therapy. She enjoys connecting with her readers and is having a blast entering into this new world of publishing.

Review:

This is the first novella in the series and I thought I would review it as well as the second. So here goes!

So this has very little to do with A Lil' Less Broken but it was helpful while reading it. There's a vocabulary list of some of the slang used in the novella and that was really helpful. If you've watched Sons of Anarchy, you should already know a few of the terms but a couple were unfamiliar and it was great to have that there and know what they were talking about.

A Lil' Less Broken starts things up right from the beginning. Right from the first page, there seemed to be lots of action. Whether that was emotional or physical was the question. There was lots going on to keep yourself immersed in the book and yet not enough that you felt like it was an overload. There was a good balance that worked.

There were questions asked, but they were usually quickly answered. It didn't take long to find out information about the different characters as well. You were given what you needed to know at the proper time.

Lil was a strong female character who didn't take anybody's...you know what I mean. She stood up for herself and didn't let anyone walk all over her including Jay. That was great, it meant lots of sparks between the two and yet you could still tell they loved each other. That was amazing.

Then there was Jay. Alpha male if there ever was one. He gave orders(not that Lil really followed them) and yet he wasn't mean or terrible when she didn't follow them. Sure for some of the book he was a bit of a prick, for lack of better terms but he also did what he could to show Lil that he really did love her and she ran for nothing.

There was an occasional awkwardly phrased sentence but not very many and besides what author is perfect?

A Lil' Less Broken is a good start to the Kingsmen series, and I can't wait to see even more(especially with the cliffhanger we were left with!

Review:

Now to the main event! A Lil' Less Lost released today and I advise you to go and buy it if you really like Alpha Males and Motorcycle club books.

In this novella we get the perspective of Jay, which is great, because we get to know him better and learn just how far he's willing to go for Lil.

Oh, and something else I forgot to mention in the previous review is that in the course of these novellas there is a switching between past and present. So at the same time you're dealing with all of these things going on in the book in the present, you're also getting the past, and how they came to be together. I thought that that was a nice touch and kept the reader from going crazy wondering what was happening and with the action.

This book definitely makes you think about things and adds some mystery to the series in general. Towards the end, we get the perspective of two different characters and I have to admit color me intrigued. It's definitely leaving breadcrumbs for the next book in the series and I personally cannot wait.

I literally sat down and read A Lil' Less Lost in one sitting, that's how much I enjoyed this book. You can now purchase A Lil' Less Lost and I strongly suggest you do if you're into Alpha Males and MC's.

You can find a teaser below!

Something True by Malia Mallory

(Image found on Goodreads)
"This is why she hadn't wanted to agree to this arrangement in the first place." -Malia Mallory, Something True

Shelley is a musician but she also founded KC's Kidz to entertain children in the hospital in honour of her sister who died of cancer when she was younger. Liam, a big time rock star, is in trouble with the law and volunteers at KC's Kidz. Shelley catches his eyes. But can Shelley trust him or will this all just go down in flames? Find the official description on Goodreads.

Something True drew me in and made me wish it was longer. Much of the issues revolve around Shelley and whether she can trust Liam. Not to mention she feels that she isn't going to fit in his lifestyle or Liam will lost interest. The internal battle was good to watch as I'm not sure about you but I always seem to have an internal battle about pretty much anything and everything. So it was cool to see that and recognize it as something that I do myself. When that happens you find an instant connection with Shelley.

The writing was interesting and easy to read. It blended well and you could see the distinct voices of both Shelley and Liam.

It's a great read, one that I found was too short. But then again I say that about many books I read and enjoy. So maybe I just didn't want it to end. It was a great read though.
