Spring!! And Yet in Canada, it Still Feels Like Winter

That photo is actually what is happening in Canada right now, not gonna lie. It warmed up for like a day and then we got hit with more snow. And there's actually another winter storm that's supposed to hit tomorrow. Some days I wished I lived in California, but then I'd probably complain about the heat.

So, anywho, it's been a week since I've last posted a little update/let's get to know each other post. And I thought it was time to do that again.....especially because of the fact that I can be all bundled up and still on my computer. Yes, I have managed to catch a cold at the very end of winter. What can I say? My luck sucks right now, haha. I almost made it through an entire winter with only the sniffles every once in a while. Oh well.

So, I've posted some new reviews lately, how have you guys liked them? Anything that needs to be fixed or any suggestions that you guys have, I'm always excited to hear! You can use the comments below or use the contact form in the sidebar to get a hold of me. I love to hear from readers of my blog and pretty much anyone...except scammers, but who really likes getting mail from them?

What can we discuss about books? Last time it was the emotional attachment that can be formed. Hmmm...what about preferences towards series' or novels? Which do you prefer? And if you prefer series, do you like the ones that go on and on and on with the characters being the only connection or novels?

Let's see, this is actually tough, but considering the amount of series' I read, I'll have to say series'. And the series' I tend to read a lot of are ones in which the characters are the only real connection. I do love reading series that focus on one character for the length of the series, but there just seems to be more series I prefer that are linked only be characters and the fact that there are recurring characters in them but the same characters aren't the main focus in every book. I'm not sure why but that's just always how it seems to work. I read novels and series' just less frequently than I do the series' with recurring characters.

What about you guys? Which do you guys prefer? Any suggestions or comments in general? Let me know! I want to hear everything you've got to say!

  1. I'm like you. I love a good, long series. Well, depending on my attachment to the voice and cast. Nevertheless, I get attached to a good voice and don't want to let go.

    1. Do you find that when the series comes to an end, you're just like hmmm...I think I'll be hard pressed to find another series like that? or I guess what do you think when the series ends?
