Want Me by Cynthia Eden

(Image found via Goodreads)

Sophie Sarantos likes her men dangerous....and only once. But when a man appears in her home and she realizes she's being stalked, Sophie turns to Lex, part of a security company. But she keeps her secrets close to her heart, and Lex is going to have some problems finding out what's going on. And he has to deal with his feelings for Sophie, trying to convince her that a relationship will work between the two. Can he balance both? Find the official description on Goodreads.

Cynthia Eden gets your heart beating right away. The writing was well done, with no errors. And the characters were well created, with their flaws but still lovable and personable.

We are also given the perspective of the stalker at points without the identity being given. Which makes things that much more interesting.

The plot and story went by quickly, both because it's not a huge book but also in terms of the action that grabs and keeps your attention.

I also haven't read the first book in this series but it didn't seem to make much difference because there wasn't really a whole lot of references to the previous book if any.
