Review:
All of these authors have created books that you can fall in love with. Each one is different although they all take place in New Orleans. I really enjoyed each story and there are certainly some new authors that I need to check out as well as some favorites. I would strongly suggest you give this collection a chance! Each book was well written and it was easy to distinguish the different authors even if they weren't separated by covers.

Off Duty:
This one was different as it was told entirely from the perspective of the male. Which is usually something that doesn't happen very often. So that was something different that  I enjoyed about this novella. We get a bit of back story and wow I couldn't believe the issue that caused the two to break up in the first place. You honestly don't think about that much and it definitely makes you think.

Rebound:
There are no words. This was just a beautiful story full of emotions and I just really enjoyed it.

Wanting to Forget:
I have to say that this is the novella that brought this anthology to my attention in the first place and I wasn't disappointed. You definitely saw Jordie in a different light, or at least I did. And while I certainly wish he would have changed his mind or something different could have happened I also realized that this novella set him up as less of a pig and more of a human with a history that's affecting him just as it does all of us. So I'm glad to have this novella sometime before we get his novel.

Closet Confession:

This novella definitely had me stepping out of my comfort zone reading wise. Which is always good. The writing was well done, the story interesting, and the characters even more so.

Healing Touch:

Again, this was another novella that had a good writing style, different from the rest, and a marvelous plot line. I fell in love with the characters even though I wish I had more of the history for them. But definitely got me interested to find out more.

Swimming in Shadows:
This novella was different plot wise from the others, and was from the male perspective as well. I always feel weird reading some of the male perspectives as it's not something that happens a lot or the male and female both narrate the story. So it's a nice change when that does happen. I'm certainly interested to see what happens with these two.

  1. Thank you for hosting on the blog tour and sharing your review with us. I am a huge Kindle Alexander fan and I am glad you enjoyed her story. Sometimes trying something new is hard to do! I found myself wishing this was longer than an novella.

I love the cause behind this anthology, it is incredible to me that six authors came together with such golden intentions and are contributing 100% of their income to three charities closest to their hearts. I hope that your readers will join me and #1click4charity today!
