Bury the Hatchet by Catherine Gayle!

Hunter has worked hard to become one of the better goalies in the NHL. Unfortunately the Portland Storm has a slightly better back up goalie and so Hunter is claimed in the Expansion Draft by the Tulsa Thunderbirds. Hunter isn't happy and makes a few comments that don't exactly endear him to his new fans. Tallulah was Miss Oklahoma USA until a night of drinking and a bad boy. Now Hunter and Tallulah are being forced into marriage in order to make both their reputations a bit better. They're only supposed to be married for one year. It's always sad to see players get traded or claimed by other teams. And that was the case for a couple of the Portland Storm men. So while it's sad we also get to see them again in this series so it's also happy. I have to say that this series is off to a good start. You get to see a couple of familiar faces, as well as some new ones and I can't wait for their stories!

Catherine Gayle's writing is really good and a style that I enjoy! It's not hard to read and get into. Hunter and Tallie aren't perfect and it shows. In fact, it's obvious by the situation they find themselves in that they're far from perfect.

I loved the plot line. Watching them fall in love, find each others faults and still work things out was amazing! Not to mention the surprise twist that is thrown in. That was marvelous and unexpected! 

I really loved reading Bury the Hatchet and didn't want to put it down while I was reading. Catherine Gayle has created another marvelous hockey series!
