Run to You by Rachel Lacey Virtual Tour!

ONE LITTLE LIE. A WHOLE LOTTA TROUBLE.

RUN TO YOU
Risking it All #1
Rachel Lacey
Releasing Aug 30th, 2016
Forever

ONE LITTLE LIE. A WHOLE LOTTA TROUBLE.

Moments after meeting the most gorgeous guy ever, Gabby Winters promptly gets stung by a zillion yellow jackets and falls-not gracefully-into a stream. Yup, Ethan Hunter is trouble with a capital "hot," and Gabby definitely needs to keep her distance. Except in the small town of Haven, there's nowhere to hide from Ethan's sexy, infectious grin . . . and all the residents are conspiring against her.

At the center of the town's matchmaking is Ethan's grandmother, who's convinced their relationship is a done deal. Rather than break her heart, Gabby and Ethan find themselves cornered into pretending to be falling in love. The problem: there's serious sizzling attraction between them. And if this charade continues, they won't fool just the entire town - they might fool themselves too . . .

REVIEW:

I laughed my butt off throughout this book although it also did have it's serious moments. It was a humorous read and you felt bad for both Gabby and Ethan! But then there was also Ethan's grandmother who added such depth to the book as well, not to mention a certain presence that worked really well.

The plot wasn't something that hadn't been done before but Rachel Lacey made sure to keep it fresh and ensure her characters kept the plot moving without stagnating.

Overall this was a really good read and one I would recommend to any romance fans!

Pieces by T. Aleo(Patchworks #1)

Introducing Toni Aleo's highly anticipated debut Paranormal Romance novel, PIECES. This radiant, powerful + magical love story takes you into a new world where anything is possible; where an underground society in NYC will make you question everything you thought you ever knew.
Dare to venture into... THE WORKS.
NOW AVAILABLE

https://youtu.be/-xYRxoejZFY

Overview
In New York City, an underground society of supernatural beings exists, hidden among everyday humans. They don't know of our activities or any of our secrets.
The districts of the Works are made up of vampires, wolves, shifters, witches, and I'm in the fifth and arguably most important district, the Patchwork. My father is the leader of our group, and he oversees all of the other factions.
As his only daughter, that makes me the princess of it all. Cool, right? Actually...no.
Sure, I live in a mansion and money isn't an object, but that doesn't matter because I can't leave. I have a guard who follows me around 24/7. My father and three older brothers treat me like I'm a fragile piece of glass, never allowed to take an independent step or make any decisions on my own.
It's beyond frustrating--especially since my father essentially runs my life.
He says what I do, when I do it, how I do it, and all that jazz. He tests his formulas and new techniques on me. I'm a walking science experiment.
I hate it.
I hate my life here.
But then he comes along: Killian.
He's just some vampire...or so I thought.
But you'll have to read my story to find out what I mean. To know my secrets.
Until then, though, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Rebekah von Stein.
And I'm a descendant of Dr. Frankenstein.
Welcome to the Works.

My Review:

This was one interesting read. I did take a little bit to get into the book but after the first two chapters I was hooked. Rebekah was an intriguing character, always trying to prove herself and gain some freedom. Enter Killian, someone with whom she feels a connection and yet is very mysterious, knowing nothing about him. As the story progresses the suspense increases and the reader is left trying to put together the pieces, struggling with that task.I certainly did not expect anything that happened, and every new reveal was a shock.

There is a cliffhanger that does leave you on edge, wanting to demand what happens next. Toni Aleo has certainly expanded her boundaries from hockey romance successfully and I look forward to any more of her ventures into different genres!

Reviews

"Wow! Toni Aleo is the queen of hockey romance but now she writes paranormal flawlessly. Is there anything she can’t write? I think not. She weaved this new world of witches, wolves, vampires and Dr. Frankenstein’s descendants, that had me hooked from the very first page. It was a fresh new story that I devoured in one sitting. This story was filled with suspense, mystery and romance. It had me on edge wanting, no, needing to know what would happen next." - GoodReads Review \\ Jill M \\ Embrace The Romance

"Okay, so what the hell? I didn't see that coming. I mean, really, the queen of hockey writing about vampires, werewolves and Dr. Frankenstein's descendants? Let me be a little sceptical. And after I read it, let me apologize for it. This book was a fresh wave. I devoured it. It took me only one night to finish it because this story didn't let me go. I'm sitting here trying to put together the pieces - not funny - but I can't. I want to read more books like this one. Just keep it up, Toni!" - GoodReads Review \\ Becca

"I loved this book it was phenomenal.I could not put it down for anything. I help my breath for most of it and still didn't fully exhale when it was over! The end was left with a bit of a cliffhanger and it has me wanted so much more!" - GoodReads Review \\ Ash \\ Morning Books and Coffee

Need You by Terra Kelly!

Book two of The Winters Family Series, a contemporary romance filled with emotion.

After Alyssa and her daughter experience a horrible tragedy, she realizes a change of scenery is needed to help move on from the past. She ends up in Idaho, opens a cafe, and continues to live life in the past for the next two years. Until Alex arrives in Boise.

Alex is the youngest Winters brother, a chef in Los Angeles. When he loses his job, he decides it’s time to leave the big city behind. He finds a job opening in Boise, Idaho for an Executive Chef position. He lost his job and girlfriend in the same day, now it’s time to just focus on work, or so he thought.

With so much sadness, can Alex show Alyssa it’s okay to love again? Will Alyssa realize she needs Alex to help her let go of the past?

Recipes made at the Cafe “Lexie Eats” will be included in the back of the book.

**This book can stand alone from the series.**

IMAGE AND SYNOPSIS FOUND ON GOODREADS

It's certainly terrible what Alyssa and her daughter went through but it's also amazing to see what she has done with her life since then. And Alyssa is such a sweetheart! I love it! Alex was a perfect gentlemen, someone I would certainly like to have in my life and he was even sweeter with her daughter. I really enjoyed the characters in this book and not just the three I mentioned. They were all good characters that weren't just background noise.

The plot was moving fast but at the same time slow enough that you didn't think you were speeding through it. I think it's fair to say that Alex and Alyssa were the ones moving quickly. And the way that it fed into Josh's book was a different way to end things.

The writing was mostly great, there were a few times I almost got lost when there was an abrupt change but other than that I enjoyed it.

Like many other foundations, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides assistance to injured soldiers as well as their families. SOWF also focuses on one of the most important challenges those families face; 'getting to their hospitalized loved ones as quickly as possible'. With grants immediately provided to the family, they can travel to be bedside with their loved one, especially for those crucial first days. SOWF also provides a scholarship program, family services (including clinical social workers, scholarship counselors, and family services counselors). With on-going support and helpful counseling to all families of fallen members in every branch of the military, they are able to help in all the ways that count. The SOWF was highly recommended to me by a recent veteran who served in Iraq. Therefore, I am thrilled to be able to help them in any way possible. Every little bit counts.

Author Bio
I live in Morgan, Utah with my husband, beautiful daughter, and a couple of spoiled pups. If I'm not deeply involved in writing my next book, then I'm probably reading in the safety and quiet of my closet. I love yoga – which I now practice regularly – playing hide and seek with my daughter (only to have my hiding spots revealed by one of the pups), and I love Fruit by the Foot, Twizzlers and Peace Tea. These are great ways to bribe me into revealing secrets about what's to come.
I have an unhealthy obsession with Supernatural, The Walking Dead, and The Big Bang Theory. I also enjoy talking about them, so if you like them, too, come find me.
Writing has become an enormous part of my life and every book I write holds a special place in my heart. If you read one of my books, I hope you have the same experience.

Solid Ground by Katherine McIntyre!

(Image found on Goodreads)

Mags Javiks has one day left until she boards a spaceship to start her ambassador training, one day in which to admit her love for her best friend Lex. To do so, she will have to trade the solid ground of a comfortable past relationship for the unknown frontier of a possible future together. Official description from Goodreads.

The writing in Solid Ground was really well done. At no time did I ever feel my reading experience was disrupted or anything less than great. The grammar and whatnot was on point and just the style of how Katherine read was intriguing.

Not to mention she deals with a topic that many face; regrets. And I think the debating of Mags over her regrets and what she would have changed is something that resonated deeply with me. Just that topic was enough for me to think back and find things to think about.

It was painful and sad but a quick read. So the pain doesn't last as long as it could. But Katherine McIntyre has written a marvelous story.
